About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various wind turbine platforms
  • Coordinate and complete defined service operations and resolve product issues for customer equipment
  • Support annual service campaigns, troubleshooting activities, and technical supervision of critical tasks
  • Assist with contractual extra scopes including Turbine Mounted Safety Equipment (TMSE) and crane/lift inspections
  • Ensure strict compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Quality, and Service delivery standards
  • Provide accurate reporting using the Monitoring Operations and Registration System (MORS) and other electronic workflows
  • Supervise team members, third-party technicians, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient scope delivery
  • Support the development of colleagues and apprentices while maintaining efficient service delivery timescales

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 electrical or mechanical education (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4, apprenticeship, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance or a multi-skilled maintenance role
  • Experience working with Siemens, Senvion, or Gamesa wind turbine platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital reporting systems
  • Valid driving license and the ability to pass a medical assessment
  • Willingness to travel across the UK on a 14/14 (two weeks on, two weeks off) rotation pattern
