Travel Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care and diagnostic services, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, ECGs, and diabetic foot screenings, directly in patients' homes.
• Manage daily schedules and navigate to patient locations using modern mobile technology.
• Ensure all medical supplies and PPE are prepared and organized for each appointment.
• Properly label collected samples and coordinate drop-offs to appropriate labs or shipment facilities.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, compassion, and patient confidentiality during all home visits.

Requirements

• Proven experience in venipuncture.
• State required licensure or national certification relevant to the role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to use a personal vehicle for travel.
• Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check.
• Compliance with required vaccination and immunity documentation (including COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using mobile devices for clinical charting and HIPAA-secure messaging.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• A strong interest in learning new clinical skills such as digital stethoscope use and retina imaging.
