Travel Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care and diagnostic services, including phlebotomy and specimen collection, directly to patients in their homes
• Manage daily schedules and commute to various patient locations using modern mobile technology
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks such as diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs
• Ensure all medical samples are properly labeled and coordinated for drop-off to labs or shipment facilities
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, patient confidentiality, and compassionate care

Requirements

• State required licensure or proof of training
• National certification (if applicable for your state)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience in venipuncture
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation and ability to use your own vehicle for travel
• Ability to navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check
• Compliance with required vaccination and immunity standards (including COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using mobile devices for clinical charting and HIPAA-secure messaging
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment
