Travel Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home phlebotomy and low-acuity diagnostic services to patients across Chicago
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks including specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs
• Manage daily schedules and navigate to patient homes using mobile technology
• Ensure all specimens are properly labeled and coordinated for drop-off to labs or shipment facilities
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, patient confidentiality, and compassionate care
• Utilize mobile devices for HIPAA-compliant charting and care coordination

Requirements

• Proven experience in venipuncture
• Valid state licensure or national certification as required by law
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable personal transportation to travel to various patient locations
• Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Ability to pass national background and DMV checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile clinical tools and digital health technology
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment
