Travel Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care and diagnostic services, including phlebotomy and specimen collection, directly to patients in their homes.
• Navigate to patient locations using modern technology to manage daily schedules.
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks such as diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs.
• Ensure all collected samples are properly labeled and coordinated for drop-off to labs or shipment facilities.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and patient confidentiality.
• Utilize mobile devices for digital charting and HIPAA-secure messaging for care coordination.

Requirements

• Proven experience in venipuncture.
• State required licensure and/or national certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to use a personal vehicle to travel to patient homes.
• Ability to physically navigate homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements (including COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working autonomously in a mobile or home-health environment.
• Strong technological savvy with mobile healthcare tools.
• A commitment to continuous learning and expanding clinical skill sets.
