Travel Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care and diagnostic services, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, ECGs, and diabetic foot screenings, directly in patients' homes.
• Use mobile technology to manage daily schedules, perform charting, and coordinate care via HIPAA-secure messaging.
• Ensure all medical supplies and PPE are prepared and maintained for daily patient visits.
• Manage sample collection by ensuring proper labeling and coordinating drop-offs to appropriate labs or shipment facilities.
• Build warm, professional, and compassionate connections with a diverse range of patients to ensure a high standard of care.

Requirements

• State required licensure or national certification relevant to the role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven experience in venipuncture.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to use a personal vehicle to travel to patient homes.
• Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital medical tools such as digital stethoscopes or retina imaging devices.
• Ability to work autonomously and solve problems in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
• Strong technological proficiency with mobile devices and healthcare software.
