About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation and control systems.
  • Read and interpret I&C and electrical control drawings, work orders, and plans.
  • Execute maintenance activities independently or within a team setting in a safe and reliable manner.
  • Utilize human performance tools and techniques to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Maintain proficiency in using calibration equipment, specialty tooling, and company software such as Maximo and CAS.
  • Adhere to all applicable safety standards and maintain high housekeeping standards in assigned areas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted Nuclear access.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to pass EEI's Power Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) assessment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time and work varying schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Turbine/Generator Instrumentation.
  • One year of closely related experience working on electronic equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical or instrumentation equipment.
  • Experience reading electrical diagrams, schematics, and one-line drawings.
  • Experience utilizing electrical/instrumentation test equipment.
  • Experience with lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures for electrical equipment.
  • Current Nuclear Access.
