Travel Experience Counselor I

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange domestic and international business travel for corporate customers, including individuals and groups
• Research travel options and proactively anticipate traveler needs to offer additional services
• Book complex travel arrangements involving air, road, rail, and accommodations
• Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, or Amadeus to manage bookings
• Ensure all travel arrangements comply with customer policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
• Provide high-quality telephone service and address special customer requests
• Collaborate with team members to provide coaching and feedback to improve service levels

Requirements

• Native expertise in at least one GDS (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, or Galileo)
• Strong understanding of the travel industry, such as business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and integrity when handling personal traveler information
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to work onsite at our office in San Jose, Costa Rica
