About the role
Responsibilities
- Create domestic and international travel arrangements including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
- Ensure all reservations are built according to specific client standards and preferences
- Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful travel recommendations
- Manage a wide range of bookings from simple itineraries to complex, multi-destination trips
- Handle ticket exchanges, complex fares, and resolve issues occurring before or during travel assignments
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience working as a Travel Consultant (or 5 years in another customer service industry)
- Advanced knowledge of Sabre GDS
- U.S. citizenship is required due to Federal Government contract requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass government background investigations, including criminal history and credit records
