Travel Consultant II

Responsibilities

• Create domestic and international travel arrangements including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
• Ensure all reservations are built according to specific client standards and preferences
• Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful travel recommendations
• Manage a wide range of bookings from simple itineraries to complex, multi-destination trips
• Handle ticket exchanges, complex fares, and resolve issues occurring before or during travel assignments

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience working as a Travel Consultant (or 5 years in another customer service industry)
• Advanced knowledge of Sabre GDS
• U.S. citizenship is required due to Federal Government contract requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass government background investigations, including criminal history and credit records
