Travel Consultant II

Responsibilities

• Create domestic and international travel arrangements including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
• Ensure all reservations are built according to specific client standards and preferences
• Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful travel recommendations
• Handle complex bookings involving multi-destinations, ticket exchanges, and complex fares
• Resolve routine and non-routine travel issues or changes occurring before or during assignments
• Provide outstanding customer service to defense and government travelers

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience working as a Travel Consultant (or 5 years in another customer service industry)
• Advanced knowledge of Sabre GDS
• U.S. citizenship is required due to Federal Government contract requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass company and government background investigations, including criminal and credit history

Preferred Qualifications

• Military experience or certifications (may be accepted as a substitute for some requirements)
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
