Travel Consultant

Responsibilities

• Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air, car, and hotel
• Develop long-standing relationships with members to build referral and repeat business
• Provide expert recommendations and tailored itineraries to meet member expectations
• Cross-sell relevant products such as the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card to enhance the travel experience
• Share personal travel expertise and knowledge to assist members in planning dream vacations

Requirements

• High school diploma required (2 or 4-year college degree preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple computer systems and web browsers
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
• Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of successful retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency experience
• Experience working in a goal-oriented environment
