Travel Consultant

Responsibilities

• Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air, car, and hotel
• Develop long-standing relationships with members to build referral and repeat business
• Provide expert recommendations tailored to member expectations to ensure high-quality trip experiences
• Cross-sell relevant products such as the AAA Member Rewards Credit Card to enhance travel experiences
• Share personal travel expertise and knowledge to assist members in planning itineraries

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Proficiency in navigating computers, multiple web browsers, and Microsoft Office
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening
• Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of successful retail sales or banking experience
• Previous experience in a leisure travel agency or goal-oriented environment
