Travel Consultant

Responsibilities

• Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air, car, and hotel
• Develop long-standing relationships with members to build referral and repeat business
• Provide expert recommendations tailored to member expectations and personal travel expertise
• Cross-sell relevant products such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Cards to enhance the travel experience
• Manage detailed paperwork and administrative tasks with high organizational accuracy

Requirements

• High school diploma (2 or 4-year college degree preferred)
• Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems, web browsers, and Microsoft Office
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
• Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of successful retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency experience
• Experience working in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment
