Travel Consultant – Airline Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong rapport with clients to meet sales targets
• Provide accurate travel counseling regarding flight options, routings, fares, and itineraries
• Manage expert ticketing using GDS (Sabre preferred), low-cost carrier portals, and B2B consolidators
• Issue and re-issue tickets based on changing travel plans and client requirements
• Stay updated on global travel restrictions, visa requirements, and passport regulations
• Foster long-term client relationships by tailoring travel solutions to individual budgets and preferences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• Proficiency in at least one GDS system, with Sabre experience being highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a travel agency, specifically in international airline ticketing
• Strong knowledge of international passport, visa, and health requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with superior interpersonal abilities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Multilingual abilities
• Familiarity with CRM software, Office 365, and online booking platforms
• Personal travel experience that enhances client counseling capabilities
