Travel Consultant

Responsibilities

• Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air, car, and hotel
• Develop long-standing relationships with members to build referral and repeat business
• Provide expert recommendations tailored to member expectations to enhance their trip experience
• Cross-sell relevant products such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Cards
• Share personal travel expertise and knowledge to assist members in planning

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and multiple web browsers
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or 4-year college degree
• At least 2 years of successful retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency experience
• Experience working in a goal-oriented environment
