Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on skills to students in an in-person lab setting
• Demonstrate proper technique and provide live step-by-step tasks for students
• Assess students’ lab and clinical competency and provide feedback
• Review and evaluate required skills students must demonstrate
• Communicate regularly with students via email and other tools
• Join weekly meetings to receive guidance from the internal team
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and plan for future modules

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience teaching surgical technology
• 3+ years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in a clinical setting
• Active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist or NCCT TS-C certification
• Experience with digital teaching tools and reading lesson plans
• Experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Stellar writing and communication skills
• Ability to work approximately 32 hours per week for the duration of the program

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with student remediation and certification preparation
