About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Meetings & Events (M&E) travel program by driving program adoption and operational excellence for global clients.
- Manage a team responsible for air charter and attendee logistics, including flight assignments and manifest accuracy.
- Develop and implement program adoption strategies, including training sessions and communication campaigns.
- Utilize AI and data analytics to identify process improvements and achieve annual cost savings.
- Serve as the primary liaison between M&E, travel teams, air charter providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee real-time operational changes such as cancellations, substitutions, and last-minute flight adjustments.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team through regular feedback and performance management.
- Generate detailed reporting on attendee movement, flight utilization, and team productivity metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, events coordination, or operations management.
- 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in travel, logistics, or events management, ideally in high-volume environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools for process optimization.
- Experience managing large-scale or sophisticated event operations.
- Knowledge of travel management systems and platforms.
- Background in cost optimization or aviation/air charter logistics.
