About the role
Responsibilities
- Deploy to companies experiencing critical incidents to provide immediate support and crisis intervention to employees
- Intervene effectively in crisis and post-traumatic situations with both employees and managers
- Demonstrate sound theoretical knowledge of acute stress and PTSD during interventions
- Share clinical summaries of all interventions performed
- Communicate and collaborate closely with the Trauma Coordinator
Requirements
- University degree in a field related to the helping relationship (e.g., psychology, social work, criminology)
- Professional association license to practice
- Valid liability insurance
- Proven experience in crisis and emergency management
- Deep knowledge of psychological care within a trauma context
- Expertise in group intervention techniques
- Access to a vehicle for transportation
- Ability to work an on-call mandate with a flexible schedule
