About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deploy to companies experiencing critical incidents to provide immediate support and crisis intervention to employees
  • Intervene effectively in crisis and post-traumatic situations with both employees and managers
  • Demonstrate sound theoretical knowledge of acute stress and PTSD during interventions
  • Share clinical summaries of all interventions performed
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with the Trauma Coordinator

Requirements

  • University degree in a field related to the helping relationship (e.g., psychology, social work, criminology)
  • Professional association license to practice
  • Valid liability insurance
  • Proven experience in crisis and emergency management
  • Deep knowledge of psychological care within a trauma context
  • Expertise in group intervention techniques
  • Access to a vehicle for transportation
  • Ability to work an on-call mandate with a flexible schedule
