Trauma and Orthopaedics Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy treatment programs for patients in major trauma, plastics, ortho-trauma, SCI, and TBI settings
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and function
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote recovery

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• HCPC registration
• Previous experience as a Band 6 Physiotherapist or equivalent
• Experience in major trauma, plastics, ortho-trauma, SCI, and TBI settings
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
