Transversal Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture discovery across multiple business domains including Origination, Servicing, Sales, and Credit
• Audit existing architecture and produce current-state assessments covering applications, integrations, and data flows
• Define and socialize target architecture strategies using domain-driven design principles
• Act as a connective layer across data, rules engine, UX, and AI workstreams to ensure consistency and prevent duplication
• Partner with client technology leadership to prioritize modernization initiatives and quick wins
• Guide engineering teams through architectural decision-making and build technical trust
• Support SOW scoping and provide team structure recommendations for implementation phases

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture roles
• Deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Proven background in application modernization involving cloud, microservices, and APIs
• Experience working within large financial services or highly regulated environments
• Strong proficiency with integration patterns, API gateways, and event-driven architecture
• Ability to effectively communicate across both business and technology stakeholder groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to fintech platforms or student lending systems
• Experience with Salesforce architecture (headless or API-driven usage)
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks
• Prior experience in consulting or as a systems integrator
• Knowledge of integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Kong
