Transportation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision to staff, including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers
• Manage driver scheduling processes, payroll data, and load completions via TMW
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure maximum utilization of the fleet
• Draft and submit daily end-of-shift reports and assist with customer invoicing reconciliation
• Communicate daily with drivers regarding service issues, workload forecasting, and company updates
• Support employee development through coaching, performance reviews, and onboarding programs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
• Monitor and review daily pre/post-trip inspections to ensure safety standards are met

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field OR 1-5 years of supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities with good judgment
• Strong communication, analytical, and mathematical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TMW and People Net
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Working knowledge of transportation and mechanical equipment
