Transportation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a fleet of drivers, providing training and coaching
• Assist with scheduling, dispatching, and route/backhaul coordination
• Investigate safety complaints and coordinate driver safety meetings
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations
• Resolve delivery issues and address customer concerns
• Maintain vendor relationships for equipment maintenance
• Act as a backup driver to run routes or assist in recovery as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in transportation operations or a supervisory role
• Current CDL-Class A and DOT medical card
• Acceptable driving record per insurance guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of ELD, Samsara, or other routing platforms
• Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations
