Transportation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage daily end-to-end road transport operations for customer, retail, and marketplace deliveries in the Hungary market
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues quickly to ensure reliability
• Track and improve supplier performance against agreed KPIs
• Analyze transport data, reports, and cost metrics to drive operational optimization
• Manage transport budgets, purchase orders, and invoice validation
• Support contract negotiations and collaborate with procurement on vendor management
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to improve service quality
• Contribute to regional transport initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
• 2–4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
• Strong understanding of distribution and delivery processes
• Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities and experience with KPIs
• Proficiency in MS Office and transport-related systems
• Fluency in both Hungarian and English is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Slovakian is considered an advantage
