Transportation Router

Responsibilities

• Administer the routing system by manually routing orders using RoadNet
• Perform maintenance on the routing system and set up new accounts
• Print and sort pick tickets for distribution to shippers
• Perform dispatching functions and reconcile driver manifests
• Field incoming calls from drivers and customer service
• Gather and record delivery time information and delivery status for selected accounts

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a transportation or warehouse environment
• Strong knowledge of local delivery areas
• Proficiency with computer terminals and office equipment
• Ability to perform continuous data entry and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
