Transportation Representative, Trans SME

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation execution and resolve supply chain exceptions within the Network Operation Center (NOC).
• Communicate with external partners (carriers, vendors, suppliers) and internal stakeholders (retail, finance, fulfillment centers).
• Systematically escalate data variances and problems to relevant owners, following through to resolution.
• Analyze network data to identify trends and propose process improvements or automation to streamline operations.
• Create written narratives outlining weekly findings and variances to goals for review forums.
• Provide real-time decision-making and problem resolution in a 24/7 operating environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operating environment to provide real-time customer experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL or other relational databases.
• Background in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Economics.
• Experience working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) roles.
• Previous experience working for Amazon or an Amazon subsidiary.
