Transportation Management Logistics Planning Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the daily operational point-of-contact for internal NFI divisions and clients
• Provide guidance, training, and leadership to TM Coordinators and Specialists
• Initiate continuous improvement strategies to enhance internal and external operations
• Collaborate with management to create custom operational procedures, including route guides, exception management, and shipment optimization
• Manage daily shipment activity, carrier procurement, and spot market management
• Work closely with management on Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and SOP documentation
• Identify opportunities to organically grow existing business and connect customers to other NFI divisions

Requirements

• BA or BS degree required
• 3-4 years of transportation-related industry experience
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• In-depth knowledge of TMS programs used for brokerage services
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
