Transportation Industry Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze market statistics, financial results, and regulatory trends to provide insights into industry capacity and structural changes.
• Combine internal delivery data, demand forecasts, and capacity utilization with external market data to build a foundation for strategic planning.
• Develop and propose long-term (3–5 year) optimization strategies for the third-party delivery partner portfolio.
• Identify and evaluate new capacity sources based on market data and internal requirements to quantitatively justify new partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations, Finance, and Business Development to align on strategies and drive projects forward.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain-related roles within a procurement organization.
• 2+ years of professional data analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in Japanese (speaking, writing, and reading).

Preferred Qualifications

• Business-level proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
• Knowledge of transportation laws and industry practices.
