Transportation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide basic project design through CAD drafting
• Perform research and write technical reports
• Travel to job sites for observation as needed
• Collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers on bridge, retaining wall, and dam projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis or closely related field
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate within 18 months
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Familiarity with MicroStation
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
