Transportation Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with company, State, and Federal regulations
• Maintain vehicle operation logs and report maintenance needs to the Distribution Supervisor
• Deliver trailers in a timely manner and advise supervisors of any improvements or issues
• Keep accurate daily records of accounts and cases delivered or returned
• Support food safety and quality through SQF, biosecurity, and GMP measures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current, valid CDL
• One year of driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and up-to-date medical card
• Ability to pass a DOT exam
• Ability to obtain a tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire
• Proficiency in reading and writing English
• Basic math skills and ability to identify colors
