Transportation Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Transport residents and care providers to scheduled destinations safely and timely
• Prioritize passenger safety and maintain accountability for all residents during transport
• Assist residents with special needs, including operating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs
• Coordinate and arrange transportation schedules based on resident requests
• Maintain accurate records of transportation requests and completed trips
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and caregivers regarding scheduling
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Operate vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Assist with Front Desk operations, package delivery, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of licensed driving experience
• Valid California Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills for scheduling systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate vehicle lifts
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to sit and operate a vehicle for up to six hours per day

• Experience working with senior populations
