Transportation Bus Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles, including buses and passenger vans, throughout Walt Disney World Resort routes
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain clean, presentable vehicles at all times
• Greet guests warmly and provide information via microphone (spieling)
• Assist guests with boarding, including operating accessibility lifts and handling wheelchairs, ECVs, and strollers
• Maintain safety and ownership during emergency situations and manage crowd control during peak hours
• Navigate various environments including pedestrians, wildlife, and inclement weather

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 5 years of continuous valid licensed operating experience (3 years must be in the United States)
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain a Florida Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Standards
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) assessment
• Availability to be fully available for the first 12 weeks of employment (Part-Time)

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing Florida CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement
• Previous experience as a Bus Driver
• Bilingual skills
