About the role
Responsibilities
- Code and approve invoices related to transportation costs to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the production planning cycle, including carrier assignment and shipment coordination
- Coordinate with customers to investigate and resolve lost or delayed shipments
- Schedule and prepare shipping documentation for LTL (less-than-truckload) and full truckload shipments
- Prepare international shipping paperwork using internal and external systems
- Collaborate with logistics vendors to support project requirements and meet service expectations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow workflows from beginning to end and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with customers and vendors
- Willingness to learn and adapt as new projects and processes are introduced
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a warehouse environment
- Some college coursework or degree completion
