Transportation Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international transportation and logistics, including routing, coordinating, and documenting shipments
• Ensure regulatory compliance for dangerous goods and manage export/import documentation and licenses
• Analyze shipment options, develop transportation plans, and issue routing instructions
• Process and audit freight bills, manage freight costs, and support contract negotiations
• Investigate loss/damage claims and perform root-cause analysis
• Liaise with carriers and stakeholders to coordinate freight movements
• Lead the implementation of new processes, tools, and team improvements
• Identify cross-functional impacts and create business solutions for complex logistics problems

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Transportation and Logistics operations
• 6+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources
• 6+ years of experience interpreting data and presenting analysis/recommendations to management
• Ability to travel domestically on a potential quarterly basis
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 to meet export control requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years in a lead role supporting International Ocean Freight Transportation & Coordination
• Experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Freight Forwarding roles
• Exceptional multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
