About the role
Responsibilities
- Correctly debriefing drivers
- Checking timesheets and ensuring PODs are returned correctly
- Scanning and storing PODs using the document management system
- Preparing driver wallets and issuing delivery notes
- Printing despatch notes and replenishing paper
- Answering telephones and assisting with enquiries
- Downloading drivers’ cards and tachographs
- Communicating ETAs to Customer Services
- Updating spreadsheets including change-overs and run summaries
- Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
- Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads
Requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Adaptable and conscientious approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good computer literacy, particularly MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively in a team or individually
