Transport Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily Night Shift operations at the Tullamarine site, ensuring adherence to work allocation and driver schedules
• Ensure all Safety & Compliance requirements are met in line with the operational plan and regulatory standards
• Monitor and assess transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure service levels are achieved
• Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with cartage contracts and management system requirements
• Conduct daily and weekly reconciliation of assets, including inventory, pallets, and transport equipment
• Optimise payloads and implement strategies for route and schedule success to achieve commercial returns
• Coordinate daily resource planning to align with forecast and budget plans
• Collaborate with the Transport Manager to enhance operational procedures and meet contractual obligations

Requirements

• Prior experience in a leadership position within the Transport or Logistics sector
• Proven ability to lead, nurture, and manage a high-performing team
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and methodical approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency with diverse logistics and transport systems
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve operational results
