Transport Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Create efficient transport plans using TMS in collaboration with Transport and Warehouse teams
• Assemble 400+ consolidated orders into loads every 24-hour period
• Subcontract and plan orders from multiple UK warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites
• Plan daily fleet workload based on site and outbases
• Manage approximately 100 time-critical collections per day
• Report problems, resolve queries, and maintain agreed KPIs
• Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Experience planning units across multiple depots
• Experience using a TMS system
• Experience working in an FMCG environment
• Strong analytical skills and Excel capability with standard formulas
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and within tight timescales
