Transport Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Create cost-efficient and optimized transport plans and coordinate hire-fleet movements between regions and depots
• Order vehicles for the delivery and collection of hires as required
• Schedule weekly inventory cycle counts
• Organize inter-company equipment transport, including managing customs, cross-border documentation, and processing purchase orders
• Assist other schedulers with equipment, fuel, and rehire coordination
• Manage invoicing and cost reallocation for intercompany movements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or relevant professional experience
• Proven experience as a supply chain professional
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
