Transport Planner

Responsibilities

• Create efficient transport plans using TMS in collaboration with Carlisle, Central, and Network teams
• Plan orders from multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK
• Manage time-critical planning to achieve customer performance targets
• Report problems and resolve queries arising during operations
• Maintain and exceed agreed KPIs
• Identify and implement continuous improvements
• Make decisions under pressure within tight timescales
• Utilize Stobart and Culina Group networks to support volume fluctuations

Requirements

• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Experience planning 20+ tractor units across multiple depots
• Experience using a TMS system
• Strong analytical and Excel capability with standard formulas
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a pressurized environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer focus on delivery performance
• Commercially and financially astute

Preferred Qualifications

• CPC qualification is desirable but not required
