Transport Planner Night

Responsibilities

• Organize transport planning smoothly and cost-efficiently.
• Process orders in relevant systems and document efficient processes and procedures.
• Support transport planning primarily using charter vehicles and DFDS trailers.
• Contribute to achieving the best possible roundtrips for daily planning.
• Act as a central point of contact for customers, carriers, drivers, the shipping department, and the warehouse.
• Monitor drivers and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and risk mitigation.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements and ISO/SQAS standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics planning.
• Proven experience working within a logistics environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.
• Full willingness to work permanent night shifts (22:00 - 06:06).
