Transport Planner

Responsibilities

• Organize transport planning smoothly and cost-effectively.
• Execute all operational, commercial, and administrative transport tasks.
• Process orders within relevant systems and establish efficient procedures.
• Support daily planning for charter vehicles and DFDS trailers to achieve optimal roundtrips.
• Act as a central point of contact for customers, carriers, drivers, shipping, and warehouse departments.
• Monitor drivers and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all activities comply with legal requirements and maintain ISO and SQAS standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a logistics environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office and general PC operations.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.
• Flexibility to work in shifts (06:00-14:06 and 13:54-22:00) and participate in weekend on-call rotations.
