Transport Planner

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day planning of the transport operation to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Efficiently utilize the Culina network fleet and resource correct transport requirements for each site.
• Assemble over 400 multi-drop or consolidated loads and plan approximately 200 collections every 24-hour period.
• Liaise daily with Shift Managers, Transport Coordinators, Customer Service, and Client Support colleagues.
• Manage client requests and resolve day-to-day operational issues proactively.
• Aim to exceed agreed KPIs while keeping subcontracting to a minimum.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good geographical knowledge to assist with efficient route planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision or as part of a team.
• CPC qualification is desirable but not essential.
