Transport Planner

Responsibilities

• Define, coordinate, and evaluate the transport program to manage material requirements between plants and distribution centers.
• Establish daily execution programs for outsourced carriers and logistics personnel across the network.
• Monitor and evaluate daily transport performance to identify necessary improvements or modifications.
• Coordinate program adjustments based on operational contingencies to ensure continuous coverage.
• Optimize resource planning to balance operations and ensure efficient processes.
• Maintain and adjust optimization model parameters, including constraints, weightings, and penalties, within TP/VS tools.
• Manage master data and specific profiles for planning and optimization methods.
• Execute and evaluate daily detailed transport programming runs to detect process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Engineering.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Analyst.
• 2 years of experience as a Transport Analyst.
• 1 year of experience as an Automotive Workshop Manager.
• Advanced knowledge in Automotive Maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge in Distribution and Logistics.
• Advanced knowledge in Demand Planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or Postgraduate studies.
