Transport Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of IP/MPLS network transport and network virtualization solutions
• Assist in architecting and engineering highly available IP-based solutions
• Test products and solutions in a client-owned and operated integration lab
• Create and execute test plans for validation testing of new installations and network upgrades
• Document designs and installations
• Provide required project management support

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in IP and IPv6
• Minimum of JNCIA or CCNA certification
• Hands-on experience configuring routers and switches
• Knowledge of protocols including OSPF, iBGP, eBGP, IS-IS, and MPLS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
