Transport Manager

About the Company

Pro à Pro, a subsidiary of the METRO Group, is a major player in the RHD (Out-of-Home Catering) sector. We supply catering professionals (restaurateurs and local authorities) with a full range of products including groceries, beverages, fresh products, frozen goods, and hygiene supplies through personalized service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all activities related to drivers and on-site loading while ensuring compliance with transport regulations
• Lead, animate, and coordinate a team of 50 employees while maintaining a positive social climate
• Manage the vehicle fleet
• Coordinate and participate in the daily organization of delivery routes
• Manage costs and control the service budget
• Implement and monitor transport service activity indicators
• Manage projects and work toward continuous service improvement
• Act as the interface between internal and external company partners

Requirements

• Higher education degree in logistics or transport
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in professional food distribution
• Proven leadership and ability to manage driver teams
• Strong organizational, anticipation, and analytical skills
• Deep knowledge of transport industry constraints and the local service region
