Transport Manager Packaged Gas Products

Responsibilities

• Lead daily transport operations, ensuring service quality and compliance with safety standards for people and equipment
• Act as the named Transport Manager for the Operator License, upholding internal and external regulatory standards
• Champion a proactive safety culture and lead inclusive risk prevention initiatives
• Lead, support, and develop teams across multiple sites, fostering a culture of inclusion and high performance
• Manage budgets, resource planning, and productivity using data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Customer Service to align transport operations with business goals
• Ensure business continuity and mandatory governance for the Worsley and North West region

Requirements

• Transport Management CPC (required, or willingness to work towards it with support)
• Experience managing transport operations across multiple sites
• Familiarity with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards
• Experience managing budgets and performance using KPIs
• Strong leadership skills with experience working in unionised environments

Preferred Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification
• ADR qualification
• Knowledge of industrial gases or similar sectors
