Transport Infrastructure Technician

Responsibilities

• Encourage stakeholders to respect current workplace safety rules on site
• Monitor every stage of work to ensure quality of execution by the contractor
• Read, interpret, and compare plans and specifications to the work performed and report discrepancies
• Examine the quality of completed work to ensure compliance with standards
• Write daily reports on work progress
• Execute any other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor

Requirements

• DEC in civil engineering
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in bridge and structural works projects
• Skills in report writing and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Good knowledge of Hydro-Québec standards and practices
• Completion of MTQ STC 201 and 102 (AQTR) training for construction and repair of structures
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
