About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead investment cases and scheme assessments for transport projects in accordance with NZTA or appropriate client procedures
- Lead various transportation assessments, investigations, strategy studies, feasibility studies, and traffic/transportation modelling
- Manage assigned projects to ensure deliverables meet client needs, stay within budget, and are completed on time
- Undertake project planning, scoping, and technical reviews to ensure high-quality outputs
- Prepare fee estimates and negotiate service fees with clients
- Engage in business development activities and participate in client meetings and events
- Collaborate with national and international WSP transportation teams to support strategic projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in transportation infrastructure, transport engineering, or planning
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary projects through the full project life cycle
- Demonstrated experience in developing business cases and leading project proposals
