Transport Driver (tractor trailer) Evenings

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer truck to perform long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of finished products or materials
• Inspect vehicles for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip
• Maintain accurate DOT driver logs and all required transport documentation
• Ensure the safety and compliance of all loads
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers as needed
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid U.S. CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT Road Test
• Minimum of 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or 2,500 accident-free hours
• Tanker Endorsement and relevant experience
• Ability to work evening shifts, including multiple nights away from home sleeping in sleeper cabs
• Physical ability to lift cases weighing 20-45 pounds and perform manual tasks such as cranking landing gear

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Class A vehicles in tight spaces, backing into docks, and maneuvering in various weather and road conditions
• Experience hauling consumer products or perishable goods
• Possession of HazMat and Double endorsements
