Transport Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate weekly PMI schedules and create full year schedules
• Present all trailers and vehicles for PMI in line with predetermined schedules
• Maintain and analyse Driver data in Tachomaster and generate legality reports
• Administer Fueltek system, reconcile fuel usage, and report MPG performance
• Export Microlise data and produce vehicle and driver performance reports
• Investigate missing vehicle mileage and report exceptions to the Transport Manager
• Support sites with haulier set up and administration around BRC requirements
• Record holidays and sickness and update company timekeeping systems
• Monitor and issue contractor permits to work
• Undertake departmental audits and communicate findings
• Create purchase orders on SAP for services and goods
• Produce ad-hoc reports and respond to queries

Requirements

• Working knowledge of the Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Tachomaster, Tranman, or similar maintenance systems
