Transport Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Create shipping plans for designated goods, ships, and equipment for global projects
• Coordinate the tendering of all inbound and outbound shipments
• Ensure shipments comply with local customs requirements, processes, and company guidelines
• Ensure necessary documentation is available in a timely manner for shipping
• Inform stakeholders regularly about shipment progress
• Maintain and update all logistical data in the ERP system
• Maintain and share accurate knowledge regarding market developments, including rates from shipping companies, carriers, and agents

Requirements

• Completed MBO education, preferably from the Scheepvaart en Transport College
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project logistics
• Knowledge of and experience with international customs processes and procedures
• Experience working within an international project organization
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Office applications and ERP systems
